Description

Our RGB (UHD) Ultra High Density LED strip light uses 140x 3838 RGB LEDs per metre.   The ultra high density number of LEDs minimises the visual dottiness and ensures a high intensity vivid colour.

The 3838 RGB LED is a new generation of LED which in most cases will replace the ever popular 5050 RGB LED. 

There are two main advantages of the new 3838 LED

1. With the 3838 LED being a smaller package size it can be used in higher density and thinner LED strip light.  Thus producing bright LED strip lights without the annoying visual dots.
2. The face of the 3838 LED glows, rather than seeing the individual colour chips seen with the 5050 LED.

This PCB is made using 3oz copper, this reduces voltage drop, so allows for a continuous 10m length without visible loss of brightness.

This LED strip light is rated at 24W/m and can produce damaging levels of heat which may cause permanent harm to the LEDs.  This strip must be mounted to a heatsink such as an aluminium profile. 

This LED strip carries an IP rating of 65, this is an indoor/outdoor / wet environment LED strip.
